Founded by Lamia Kamel and Hania Moussa, The Global Narrative was born out of a growing need for regional public relations that is personal, precise, and principled, We focus on public figures, executive leaders, and purpose-driven initiatives — helping shape how they are seen, understood, and remembered.

Lamia Kamel

Founder and Managing Partner of The Global Narrative

Lamia Kamel is the Founder and Managing Director of CC Plus, a leading corporate consultancy firm that applies world-class standards, operating in local and regional markets.

A strategic communications executive and a political PR consultant with a proven track record of successful PR campaigns, Lamia helps clients integrate global political, economic, cultural and communication trends to create innovative, forward-looking strategies and plans.

For a year-long term, Lamia was selected for the role of Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Promotion, based on a statement enforcing the need to employ highly qualified calibers to apply their skills and expertise to achieve optimum performance in the tourism sector.

In this post, Lamia oversaw the promotional activities of all authorities under the ministry, including advertising and publicity campaigns, managing the PR aspects of events and ceremonies, and crisis management.

Earlier in 2006, Lamia started CC Plus as a small PR boutique, and it grew over years to be one of the leading in-town consulting firms in Egypt.

In 2016, she founded Narrative PR Summit with 5 implemented editions featuring a prominent line up of speakers to become a platform for promoting Nation Branding under the patronage of Egypt’s cabinet.

Lamia is one of the pioneers in Political Communication in Egypt.

She has been involved as a communications strategist in many of the most highly visible campaigns in Egypt.

She was also instrumental to HE Amr Moussa’s Presidential Campaign and HE President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, current president of Egypt, during his electoral campaign.

After enjoying a dynamic corporate working experience in Vodafone during the giant's start-ups in Egypt, Lamia moved to consultancy roles where she worked with PETRONAS, the major Malaysian Oil and Gas company, American Insurance Group, ICTDAR, the United Nations Development Program specialized in the development of ICT in the Arab world.

She is also a professor at the American University in Cairo (AUC), and Misr International University (MIU), and a strategy consultant working with large local Egyptian companies to help specify gaps and enable those companies to achieve international quality standards.

Lamia received her Bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration at the American University in Cairo.

She received extensive training in developing creative PR Campaigns and Crisis Management in London, UK.

Her career began at UNICEF Headquarters in New York, followed by a pivotal role at UNICEF Egypt, leading youth and child-focused development programs.

She has since consulted with NGOs on women’s empowerment and played a strategic role in Amr Moussa’s 2012 presidential campaign.

Today, she also serves as an Executive Board Member of the Narrative PR Summit, the region’s leading platform for public diplomacy and strategic dialogue.
